Laparoscopy, is a surgical diagnostic procedure usually done to observe abdominal organs, requiring minimally invasion. Unlike in a surgery, it has proven to be low risk with only a small incision needed to carry out laparoscopy procedure and therefore also referred to as, keyhole surgery.

This procedure allows the doctor to have a view of the internal organs without having to cut open the patient, instead, a small camera at the end of long tube known as the laparoscope is inserted through the incision. The camera sends back images, which allows precise diagnosis and procedures.
